My friend Jonah showed me this band called Pomplamoose a little while ago and I just can’t get enough.  Her voice is awesome.  I love her and them.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

LXD stands for the Legion of Extraordinary Dancers.  They performed last week on the results show of So You Think You Can Dance.  They were incredible!  So my brother and I looked them up and the preview for the online “dance adventure” looks so incredibly beautiful.  It is a web series that is starting in 2010.  ”The 10-week Volume One of LXD, set to launch early this summer, will chronicle the formation of “the most elite dance crew in the world,” tracing the origins of the seven schools of dance that make up the famed crew. Chu blends comic-book style characters with a fictional cinematic narrative. The story begins with the modern day regrouping of a 1930’s era dance troupe birthed out of the traveling circus circuit.”  Sounds exciting and fantastic.  Can’t wait.

1. LookBook.  I am hooked.  I now want to be part of it almost as much as Jil.  Maybe we should have a contest to see who can get on LookBook first Jil?  ReadySetGo.

2. Bones, the T.V. show.  Watch it every night as I lay in bed going to sleep.  Almost through 2nd season!

3. Leather.  I covet almost every leather jacket I see.  …pretty sure I need to get some leather pants.  And obviously leather boots are incredible as well.  I want to wear leather all the time.

4. Nesquik chocolate milk.  It’s just so good!!!  Made from the powder mix of course, not that pre-mixed garbage.

5. Military jackets.  I got mine at H&M and I want to wear it everyday of my life.  I need more.  I am thinking about buying some plain jackets and embellishing them to look military-esque…?  We’ll see.

6. Chrysanthemums. Japanese ones mostly.

7. Gaudiness.  I can’t get enough of things gaudy and gold, draped and embellished, sparkling and over the top…it’s kinda gross and I love it.

8. My little brother Alex.  He is hysterical.

9. Tights and leggings.  It’s getting cold; I need more tights; more colors and patterns.

10. Apple Cider.

“They Keep Killing Him But He Keeps Coming Back”

Last night I drove to Idaho Falls with my dad and my uncle Chris to see Alice Cooper in concert.  It was the greatest show ever.  It was called the Theatre of Death tour.  I have never seen a show like that.  Amazing.  My dad and his brother loved Alice back in the day but never got to see him in concert, so it was fun to be with them for that.  Though it has been almost 24 hours and my ears are still ringing; pretty sure I have done severe damage to my hearing…I am glad I went.  It was incredible.

I was taking pics of the backdrop before the show and a guy came up and told me I wasn’t allowed to take pictures when Alice comes out with my SLR unless I had photo credentials.  I said ok.  He left.  Here are a select few of the over 300 pictures I took during the show.  Enjoy.

I am completely obsessed with LookBook at the moment.  I have discovered an array of inspiring styles and outfit combinations, as well as some other simply amazing things.  I will share two of those amazing photos with you now.
